The mission of General Industrial Supply is to equip craftsmen with the tools and equipment necessary to promote American industry amidst any economic climate. We aspire to lead our competitors, serve our customers, and provide for the community in which we reside.
History
General Industrial Supply originally began as Tennessee Machinery back in 1929, coinciding with the beginning of America’s Great Depression. Young entrepreneur Sidney Standford Warren could have never imagined that his humble company would one day be ran by his great grandson. The company has grown with the Nashville community it calls home as future generations have learned the family business through years of hands-on experience. Several of them began helping out when they were only six. The Warren family loves what they do; it’s the only thing they’ve ever done. Through a depression and recessions, the company has equipped craftsmen with the tools and equipment necessary to promote American industry amidst any economic climate.
